African Surfari - Surf Movie

We’re Jordy Liackman and Cooper Puttergill — two mates from Newcastle, Australia — who booked one-way tickets to South Africa with one goal: chase waves and see where it took us.

We spent two months travelling the entire coastline, surfing spots we’d dreamed about since we were kids — Jeffreys Bay, Victoria Bay, Elands Bay, Cape St. Francis, Durban, and more. We scored perfect waves, got skunked hard, and ended up in places we never expected, from empty point breaks to inland safaris.

Along the way, we met some incredible people — including the crew from Surfers Not Street Children in Durban, who are using surfing to give kids a way out and a reason to keep going.
