The plan was simple: surprise Carissa Moore with a custom made scrapbook detailing moments large and small from her venerable career, and let her reactions do the talking.
When we got the chance to connect with Carissa’s closest friends and family members to create a roadmap of personal snapshots from her life, we knew we’d walk away with an interview that would reveal a lesser seen side of the five time world champion.
Cue laughter, even some happy tears.
An avid scrapbooker herself, Carissa was moved, to say the least.
On a rainy afternoon at home, Carissa walked us through her memories, touching on everything from pink Lamborghinis to giant papayas to pushing progression with in competition surfing.
