Dear Babe,

Which drove me into creating "Dear Babe," with Luluhia Babe Blomfield Kane, someone who's deeply immersed in those sweet early chapters of life.

She was born and raised in the most incredible form of youth I could dream up, right here on O'ahu.

Now she’s entering into that strange abyss between childhood and womanhood...and I wanted to capture this chapter before it was gone forever.

"Dear Babe," is a celebration of youth and how much has changed in Hawai'i for those growing up here.

But I also wanted to celebrate how much has stayed the same thanks to family and the ocean that surrounds them.
