Bryce Baker stopped by Mollusk Venice to try out a couple Radio Surfboards at Malibu: 10'6 Power Glider and 9'8 Starship. They're a perfect pairing for lined up surf.

The Power Glider was loosely inspired by Takayama speed shapes. Combine a relaxed entry rocker for epic paddling and wave catching, with a constant overall rocker, with soft-flat entry to tri-plane concave/vee with a bit of release out the back, allowing for carving turns, rather than the point-and-shoot approach of the more traditional glider designs.
The Starship is versatile, playful, and maneuverable. It features a subtle concave in the nose, mostly flat midsection with vee above the fin, and flat out the tail. 70/30 rails throughout the board with a harder edge towards the back for a crisp release. Pair with a raked fin for liveliness, or a pivot fin for more noseriding capabilities. A simple board with multiple gears.
