Pumping New Jersey

It's not often all the stars align for a swell in New Jersey.

Usually the biggest swells come with a lot of wind and current and the swells with perfect conditions usually leave you wishing for a little more size.

This was one of the rare swell where the size, shape, direction, and conditions all synced up with good tides and the peak of the exiting low pressure system.

And for that to happen in April at the end of the east coast swell season is even more of a rarity.

The crew took advantage and everyone scored really good waves from the crack of dawn till a good portion of the afternoon.

With summertime approaching it was nice to pack a few Jersey barrels and stock up visions to get us through the inevitable flat spells that are looming as we transition from spring to summer.
