UP TO YOU!

For 10 days, we traveled around Chile, exploring everything from secluded beaches to snow-capped mountains, in search of the best spots for surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. During that time, we covered thousands of kilometers, as wave and snow reports kept changing and we constantly had to decide whether to head to the sea or the mountains.
I'm Antonio Bretones, a surf filmmaker and photographer. I was lucky enough to accompany Yago on this trip. Through my camera, I captured not only his style in the three disciplines, but also his emotions, his passion, and the way he faces challenges both inside and outside of competition. Every moment of the trip reflects the connection between an athlete and the environments that surround us when practicing these sports, as well as the friendship and complicity that is forged by sharing paths, miles, and adventures.
UP TO YOU! has a clear narrative and a message that resonates more than ever today: in a world where we are hooked on screens, it is up to you to decide to go out and find what you are truly passionate about. From the serenity of a wave to the adrenaline rush of a descent on snow and the freedom of skateboarding in unexpected places, the documentary mixes action, adventure, and personal reflection. In the end, these three sports teach us that the real adventure lies in seeking out and living experiences in idyllic places to practice them.
