PAPOOZ
Papooz was heard for the first time in the spring of 2015.
The melody is soft, the rhythm swaying, the pop spirit with a little exotic je ne sais quoi.
The title was "Ann Wants To Dance", and it made our summer, ideally placed between showers and sunny spells.
On the other hand, it is difficult to imagine the origin of the group.
The androgynous voice, in the highs, is not fundamentally identifiable, male or female? And from which country? It's English pop, but with the lascivious nonchalance of a Bossa Nova track.
Finally, no need to go around the world, they are our neighbors.
Parisian duo with tuned voices, Ulysse and Armand, in their early twenties, both immersed in the Anglo-Saxon music of the 70′s, rocked by the Beach Boys and Velvet Underground records that their parents listened to.

The maritime universe, the relationships, connections between humans and sailors, constitute my area of investigation.
Born in Brest and never ceasing to survey the coast since, the Breton coasts have become an extension of my workshop, they are at the same time a source of inspiration, raw material from which to draw and fields of experimentation.
If the object of sliding questioned me as an interface of dialogue between man and this marine element and constitutes a very particular research work, it especially allowed me to understand how to build an artistic reflection and an approach. designer, thus opening doors to new projects and questions.
