A virtuoso surfer, Jérémy Flores is one of France's most international athletes.

On social networks, between successes and outbursts, the life of the enfant terrible of French surfing fascinates...

However, in reality, glory and victories have never made things easier...

Far from it.

In 2021, Jérémy turns 33.

On the verge of becoming a father for the second time, he announces his retirement from professional competition.

Of course, it's a well-deserved retirement.

From World Tour podiums to the Tokyo Olympics, nothing predestined the kid from Reunion Island for such a success story.

Behind the scenes, things are much more complex...

For several months, Jérémy has been plagued by intense migraines and episodes of extreme fatigue for which there is no explanation.

Just as he should be preparing for a peaceful retirement, he is diagnosed with a tumor at the base of his brain.

He must undergo surgery...

A high-risk operation, the consequences of which are hard to predict.

Will he still be able to recognize his wife and children?

Will he be able to surf again?

No one can guarantee anything...

Jérémy will undergo surgery in October 2022.

From the doctors' point of view, it's a success: he's alive...

From his point of view, it's far from enough.
