Fishpeople tells the stories of a unique cast of characters who have dedicated their lives to the sea.

The film features Eddie Donnellan of MeWater Foundation, endurance swimmer Lynne Cox, diver Kimi Werner, and surfers Matahi Drollet and Dave Rastovich.

"For each of us, it's our own private church, our own private temple.

It soothed pains that are real," Dave contemplates the power and purpose of the ocean.

Fishpeople is a film about the transformative effects of time spent in the ocean—and how we can leave our limitations behind to find deeper meaning in the saltwater wilderness that lies just beyond the shore.

THE MORE THINGS CHANGE:
26 minutes – 2016 (USA) - VO
Trailer : https://youtu.be/H4QF0_ykkN4

Directed by Nathan Myers

When Gerry Lopez first surfed Uluwatu in 1974, the fabled Balinese wave was magical, empty and pristine.

Gerry returned to Uluwatu 40 years later to find it bustling, developed and profoundly changed.

After a week of surfing and yoga, however, Gerry tapped into a spirit of place that continues to endure.

In recent years, booming popularity has placed huge environmental pressure on the Uluwatu area.

Project Clean Uluwatu is working to ease this pressure and restore the area’s pristine nature.

The More Things Change features surfing from Gerry Lopez, Dave Rastovich, Rob Machado and Rizal Tanjung.
