In 2010, free surfer Kepa Acero set off alone on a trip through West Africa, searching for untouched waves.

On the road, he stopped in Morocco and met Yassine, a 15-year-old surf stoked kid. They didn’t need to speak the same language—they shared waves, tagines, and that unique connection you only find through surfing.

Then Kepa continued south… and their paths split.

Today, Yassine has become Snoopy Style, a respected surf guide and a true Taghazout legend.

The once dusty fishing village has transformed: stylish hotels packed with digital nomads, Anchor Point crowded with surfers…

Morocco has changed—and so have they.

Fifteen years later, Kepa returns to find the old spirit: empty lineups, pure stoke, that ultimate freedom they once dreamed of.

But the trip takes a different turn…

What if that perfect wave—the myth they’ve been chasing—no longer exists?

One thing hasn’t changed: hope.

Because deep down, Kepa and Snoopy know that somewhere along this coast, there’s still an untouched wave.

Perfect.

Waiting to be found.

Or at least, that’s what they keep telling themselves…

Halfway between a travel tale and an adventure into Morocco’s legendary waves, a small group of friends discovered a surf spot called Safi in the early 1980s.

They made a pact to keep it secret—and surfed it alone for decades.

But such a precious secret is hard to keep.

This right-hander seems to stretch on forever.

It’s often considered the best right-hand point break in the world, famous for its endless barrels and devastating wipeouts.

But that fame has brought a turning point, and its future is now uncertain.

Featuring Ramzi Boukhiam, Ross Clarke-Jones, Matt Bromley, and Eli Beukes, among others.

Screening with French subtitles for the first time.
