Maewan completes its world tour!
This boat left Brittany 7 years ago, with the mission of crossing the seas without using artificial passages (Panama Canal, Suez...) while serving as a base camp for sportsmen, adventurers and scientists.
The missions followed one another and the Lost In The Swell took advantage of Maewan's passage in Patagonia to find some isolated waves.
Erwan Le Lann alias Gandalf, Maewan's captain, invited the 3 Bretons to join him on the last leg of his long journey.
The Lost saw it as an opportunity to explore surfing at a lower carbon cost and a great adventure with friends!
The date is set in a volcanic archipelago.
The surfing potential is high and the sometimes inaccessible coasts promise discoveries far from the crowds.
Erwan and his boat make this exploration possible.
The adventure begins with its traditional batch of unforeseen events.
This time, the boat's autopilot was not operational.
It will thus be necessary to ask for the assistance of another crew member to carry out the crossing and it is Benjamin Bertrel, member of the association Lost In The Swell who embarks.
Sailing and surfing are mixed in this new episode.
The very unstable weather of November imposes strategies and complicated bets to find good waves but also the right moment to launch the boat towards Brittany.
There, Maewan is very much expected!
Exploration, sailing, surfing, a nice cocktail for this new episode.

This short documentary talks about what pushes us to engage for a cause.
