Lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, on the island of Tahiti, lies a village that's home to one of the world's most beautiful waves - Teahupo'o.

Facing mystical mountains covered in a wild and luxuriant jungle, the perfect wave of Teahupo'o wraps around the reef to create a powerful tube that attracts the best surfers on the planet.

Photographer Tim Mckenna has been documenting this paradise for over 25 years.

From Laird Hamilton's Millennium Wave to WSL competitions, the locals pushing the limits, and the upcoming Olympic Games, he has been a privileged witness to Teahupo'o.

Alongside all the big names in surfing, he has seen the emergence of a generation of local kids who have come to tame this mythical wave.

Among them are Tahurai Henry and Gilbert Teave.

Aware of how lucky they are to have grown up in this paradise, they dedicate all their energy and heart to preserving the place and passing on their culture to future generations.

They are the guardians of the temple, the heirs of the village.

They are the children of Teahupo'o.

This adventure began 20 years ago.

At the age of 19, young Arnaud Mestelan left home to embark on his first solo surf trip.

On the platform at the train station in Biarritz, he met Robbie Page, an Australian pro surfer.

With his 10 years on the ASP Tour and his Pipe Masters title in 1988, Robbie was a surfing legend.

At the time, he was living in France and was on his way home to Australia.

After a few minutes chatting together, Robbie offered to take Arnaud with him on his trip.

The two new friends spent more than three weeks together, surfing across New South Wales, before Arnaud set off on his own journey.
Today, Arnaud is in his forties, has 3 children and runs the Aux Guides Baigneurs’ shop at Biarritz's Grande Plage. Since they met, Arnaud has always had the dream of one day returning to Australia to meet up with his buddy Robbie.
Two decades after their original adventure together, Robbie and Arnaud are set to meet up again.

Arnaud surprises Robbie at the National Aboriginal Surfing Championships at Bells Beach and together, they embark on a new road trip, in search of waves, community and connection to Country.

Nazaré, Belharra, Jaws... Our rider Pierre Rollet surfs the biggest waves on the planet.

Following the release of his film LE CERCLE, Pierre has decided to create his own web series to share his daily life as a big wave rider like no other.

Juggling his roles as a young father and the head of his surf school Naturéo, Pierrot chases the biggest swells every winter.

Laure Mayer divides her life between her native Basque Country and Australia, her adopted homeland.

"FROTH" immerses you in this longboard hot spot, blending dreamy landscapes with encounters with the local community.

What does a winter at home look like for Miguel Blanco?

"The Passenger 2" is a compilation of his best sessions, from Nazaré to Coxos and throughout the Ericeira area.

We're thrilled to welcome Maud Le Car to our family with a short and punchy edit introducing Maud's world.
