Oxbow and Around The Waves present the 1st OXBOW MOVIE NIGHT : Summer Edition

Oxbow invites you to live the experience of a surf film festival near you!

On tour in 5 European countries: France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and United Kingdom, here are the 5 new Oxbow productions:

OBSEASSION

A true classic longboard artist, Laure Mayer found her rhythm and lifestyle in Byron Bay, Australia.

A life of surfing, travel and encounters that have allowed this business woman to create friendships all over the world.

Back in Europe for a road trip between France, Spain and Portugal, Laure met Estelle, Paula, Andrea, Ines and Ria.

Like Laure, these local surfers have made life choices that give them the priceless freedom to surf as often as possible.

Directed by Romain and Laura Decombe, this documentary film presents the six women who are proud to be part of this generation of longboarders who are finding a place in the line-up for the simple pleasure of sliding from the nose of their board.

CROSSING BOARDERS

A major character in the world of adventurous surfers, our ambassador Kepa Acero is one of the pioneers.

He has become an expert in finding virgin waves with the help of Google Earth, the Basque surfer has made it his life path.

For this new trip he has left with his friends Natxo and Aritz, destination Liberia in West Africa.

The mission is simple: to surf a new incredible wave with his friends. The way to get there is more complicated: you have to cross the border between Liberia and Sierra Leone...

Directed by Jon Aspuru, the short film Crossing Boarders relates their adventure.

SEA RAVEN

Story of a trip to Morocco, one of the favorite destinations for surfers from all over the world.

French surfer Boris Romann and his partner Thea Myst transport us into a 70's atmosphere with a mystical, local and colorful background, to the long winter swells that break along the rocky coast.

TEM CARACOIS

You don't have to go anywhere to get a change of scenery.

Mathieu Maréchal, Simon Routa, Arnaud Mestelan and Giacomo Perez took the road to the south in the middle of summer to live a trip with friends as we like them.

Directed by Alex Heitler, this classic longboard film will immerse you in the universe of the OXBOW catalogs of the 1990s.

RAW - the sound of Teahupo'o

Shot in the heart of the Polynesian jungle and up close to the most beautiful left in the world, Tim McKenna followed locals Gilbert Teave and Tahurai Henry on an (almost) ordinary day.

Selected in several festivals and awarded as "best short film", RAW - the sound of Teahupo'o is more than an umpteenth video of surfing the mythical wave of Tahiti, this short film is a real visual and sound journey.

No music or blah blah blah, just the raw spectacle of nature!
