Shaka is the story of a challenge, a personal one, of legendary four-time World Champion snowboarder Mathieu Crepel to surf some of the world’s toughest breaks.

Having grown up riding both waves and powder, Mathieu is one of the few athletes in the world to excel in two disciplines that have much in common but are still so different.

Retired from the competition circuit but still restless for adventure, the former Olympic contender decides to face one of the biggest challenges of his life: surfing the notorious wave of Jaws, Hawaii.

With an unquenchable thirst for adventure and adrenaline, he has chosen - once again - to get out of his comfort zone and push his limits to the extreme.

Showcasing breathtaking footage of snowy peaks and massive waves at iconic locations in Hawaii, Italy, Oregon, Indonesia, and around Mathieu’s home in the Southwest of France, Shaka introduces you to diverse legends in the surf and snowboarding world including Koa & Eddie Rothman, Guillaume Nery, Kepa Acero, Gerry Lopez, Victor Daviet, and Nathan Fletcher.
