A $100,000 grant at stake.
About two years ago, Logan Dulien decided to create Snapt 4.
Almost at the same time, he announced that the surfer who would make the best section would receive a $40,000 prize, before any advertising funding for the film was secured.
Not only did Logan Dulien receive the expected amount of money, but he received much more as a result of a deal with a video game brand.
Currently, the prize money is $100,000.
An amount generated as a result of the creation of a prize pool for the best sections:
- $50,000 for first place.
- 20,000 for second.
- 10,000 for third.
- 10,000 for the best maneuver.
- 10,000 for best tube.
Mason Ho, Jack Robinson, Seth Moniz, Clay Marzo, Asher Pacey, Ian Crane, Parker Coffin, Benji Brand, Eithan Osborne, Josh Moniz, Carlos Munos, Sheldon Paishon, Zeke Lau, Barron Mamiya and Salmon Boy will realize the dream of many pro surfers, that of appearing in Snapt 4.
These fifteen surfers will follow each other throughout the film in sections of 2 to 3 minutes 30 and will be evaluated by a jury composed of Mick Fanning, Taj Burrow and Bobby Martinez. (Surf Session Mag)
