Best January SURF Southern California

Do you think the back to back swells that filled Southern California made it the best January we've seen in a long time?

I'm not claiming this was, rather asking you to comment below and let me know what you thought.  
We saw a ton of big surf, fun smaller waves and plenty of in between'ers.
