Within the San Francisco city limits, the beach is never more than 7 miles away.

But still, more than 80% of the local youth population has never been in the ocean.

The City Surf Project aims to change that, and for the last decade they've made it their mission to introduce surfing to a new generation of wave riders all over the Bay Area.
