From familiar lines at Lowers and Rincon to pumping J-Bay, Strictly Surf brings together some of the best sessions captured during the making of the original Making Waves film, including plenty of clips that didn’t make the final cut.

For Lakey, J-Bay was a standout. She’d competed there before, but this was her first time experiencing it outside of a contest. After making the trip from Southern California, she woke up one morning, looked out the window, and saw it absolutely pumping. No jersey. No scores. Just J-Bay doing what they came all that way hoping it would do.
