Ian Gottron and friends had their sights set on Portugal, until unruly weather and an uncooperative swell forced a last-minute change of plans.
They packed up and went south to Morocco, where long right-hand point breaks peel beneath those iconic desert cliffs. With no itinerary beyond following the forecast, each day became a search for those perfect, empty lines hidden along the coastline.
