On January 14, 2025, our rider Vincent Duvignac goes down in a heavy barrel and shatters his cervical vertebrae.
A true legend of the Landes sandbanks, Duvi had already spotted and surfed this secret spot many times. An ephemeral beachbreak — the kind he’s charged hundreds of times in his life.
But that day, everything changes. His career snaps in two, forcing him onto a new path. A long road back to the ocean, chasing his own unique style again — and the self-belief needed to pull into barrels like only he knows how.
For several months, filmmaker Pierre Frechou follows Duvi closely, capturing the raw intimacy of his fight to return — maybe one day — to the very highest level.
