Hawaii’s Jackson Bunch looks determined to halt thumbs and look good doing it. In his Pipeline reel above, which is being published cleverly in June rather than February, Jackson shows both small wave acuity and balls of bronze.

With a sturdy helmet, pink rails and plenty of guts, Jackson swings on the ugly ones at Pipe, pulls backflips at Ehukai Beach Park and lands and full rotations at Rocky Point.
