Stokeman is a celebration of one man's heartfelt approach to surfing. Simone Mongera is a surfer from Northern Italy who, in this film, reflects on his relationship to surfing from his early mindset of performance and comparison to an evolving relationship centered around expression and freedom.
Simone connects his experience in the water with his experiences on land through art, creativity, and relationships with other people. This film invites us to be present with the gifts of nature, as well as the gifts of our own creativity, allowing the relationship between the two to bring us into a state of joy, excitement, stoke, and ultimately, love.
