Inner Mechanics is an intimate glimpse at how Australian big wave surfer Russell Bierke takes on paddling into some of the biggest, most remote and dangerous barrels on the planet.
Following on from his award winning film “Outer Edge of Leisure”, this film traces the quiet discipline, decision-making, and instinct that sit behind his approach. 
Shot across remote reef passes and deep ocean breaks, this is heavy wave surfing at its most stripped back: no hype, no commentary, just the internal process of someone made for these moments.
